This is obviously a difficult time for many of us, for a variety of reasons, but it’s no secret the hospitality industry is currently taking a massive hit. For some, it’s scary. For others, dire. With my partners @howiekahn and @caseyrosekahn, we’ve decided to launch a daily podcast called Take Away Only, as Casey puts it, “to further create a sense of solidarity and hopefully provide glimmers of inspiration by sharing the stories of the extended hospitality community, who while suffering immensely are doing their best to find solutions for their businesses and employees.” The stories being shared are powerful, inspiring, and emotional. They’re important. So far, we’ve heard from Mark Canlis, from the great @canlisrestaurant in Seattle, Indianapolis restaurateur @marthashoover, and @flowersofvietnam chef-owner @george.azar.detroit.
